Please read carefully:

The task below represents filling out an online form. The information you provide will not be stored, and the purpose of this task is to measure how long it takes to complete it with a mouse and keyboard. Before you begin the actual timed task please do it once with a mouse and once with a keyboard for practice, to avoid skewing the resulting data. Thank you for your patience :)

The task will need to be performed both with a mouse and a keyboard. It does not matter which you use first, only that you perform the task using only either a mouse or a keyboard at one time. Each time you perform the task it will be timed with the timer.

Please note that for Windows (incase of using keyboard) the space bar is used to check/select the checkboxes. And in the case of drop-down lists the Alt+down-arrow keys are used to drop down the list box.

Before you begin please make sure Javascript is enabled for your browser.
Click on the 'START' button to start the timer,and then proceed to fill out the form, using either a mouse or a keyboard.
Fill out the form and click the SUBMIT button at the bottom of the form. This will stop the timer.
Please note the time taken displayed in the timer textbox and which device was used to perform the task.
Then click the 'RESET' button to reset the form and timer.
Now repeat the task for the other input device.
The exceptions to these the task operations would be the FirstName and LastName textboxes which will be filled out using a keyboard in both cases.And in the case of the last operation the text will have to be selected using the mouse in both cases. Only the copy and paste operations will be performed using the devices.
